Ficlet: Good Marks, R, Snarry
Yay me! I wrote something. It's been a while. I finally am caught up on my Prophet reading. Just a few more one-shots and a couple of completed fics and I'll be done. But this little snippet popped into my head after reading alisanne's ficlet The Scent of Home and I had to write it down. Glad to see my muse has not abandoned me.

Genre, etc: A tiny bit of smut, a tiny bit of angst, and a little bit of fluff.
Summary: Harry gets marked.
Disclaimer: In my dreams, I own it all. But in reality, I only own the plot. Written only for fun.

Harry raised his head from Severus' groin and grinned wickedly, while licking the leftovers from his lips. "How was that, Professor?"

Severus groaned a response, "I give you a C."

Harry frowned in confusion. "What's a C?"

"Could've done better."

Harry just stared blankly then lowered his eyes. It was obvious he was trying to think what he did wrong. Then a defeated look crossed his face and his shoulders slumped. Severus intervened before Harry got stuck on that train of thought.

"Potter."

"..."

"Harry. Harry, look at me."

Harry looked into Severus' eyes and Severus could see that he waited too long.

"Harry, I was trying to joke with you."

Harry's eyes widened a fraction, as if surprised that Severus would joke about such a thing, or joke at all. Severus chuckled.

"Come here." Harry crawled up into Severus' arms. "You did great. I wouldn't have come if you didn't. Don't let my foolish attempt at humor upset you."

Harry still seemed a bit thrown so Severus decided on another method of reassurance.

"Let me show you how much I enjoyed it," he whispered. And he began to worship Harry's body until he had Harry convinced that he was a more than adequate lover, with good marks to show for it.
